La Familia

As a designer and goldsmith I am able to forget what things are made of, as I can make metal look soft. So I focused on shapes and outlines and looked around after soft and hard things. For me it takes a certain amount of nostalgia to design everyday objects fo a modern era. My eyes landed on a beautiful Citroen  DS. And the lovely Citroen DS with the fresh trimmings grew into this sofa with the piping that underlines it’s feminine curves.
